  • Few Important Tips to ATM card holders
    • Please do not disclose your PIN to anyone.
    • Once you receive your PIN through branch, memorizes and destroys it as soon as possible.
    • Please do not give possession of your card to other and do not enter PIN is the presence of others.
    • In case the card is stolen or lost. Please report the nearest police station and do call on fixed line or fax immediately. Also inform the branch in writing along with a copy of FIR collected from the police station
    • Always carry the telephone numbers of our Bank / Branches.
    • Please protect your ATM card from bending, scattering and direct exposure to sunlight, undue pressure, fire etc.
    • When your card as expired, please cut it across diagonally before disposal.

Before using your The Karad Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Karad ATM card, please read below mentioned Terms and Conditions. If you use or keep KUCB ATM card, it means you are agreed for and shall abide by those Terms and Conditions mentioned here. If you do not wish to accept those T&C or do not wish to use KUCB ATM card then returned it to any KUCB branch or ATM cell at our Head Office address. The respective charges does not be refunded because of this card is generated and dispatched to you as per your ATM card issuance request written application to us. At present we are not using net, phone and mobile banking request for card generation.

  • Pronounced Term
    • KUCB or our bank or we or our means - The Karad Urban Co-op. Bank Ltd., Karad Registered Head Office , 516/2, Shaniwar Peth, Karad 415 110
    • You, Your, Him, He, His, Her, Them or such similar pronouns used terms shall admit as Cardholder.
  • Applicant

    Eligibility for being applicant

    • Any major individual or sole proprietor of business component to enter into the contract except illiterate and blind of having account either savings or current with or Bank
    • Any person having account operating instruction as only Self and Proprietor and in case of Either or Survivor and Any one or Survivor only primary account holder will be applicable, in case of Former or Survivor only former account holder will be applicable, in case of Later or Survivor only later account holder will be applicable. For all above cases, all joint account holders are agreeing the terms and conditions and have to signature on application form.
    • Any society, institute, co-op. bank, co-society, patsanstha, corporate offices, etc having account with Bank are not eligible to apply for this service.
  • Cardholder
    • Means who is authorized & empowered by KUCB Bank to hold & operate the ATM card for these of ATM facility & services.
  • Additional Card
    • No additional or second card shall be issued or activated during the existence of (First) activated card to the authorized card holder.
  • Transaction
    • It means use of ATM card by authorized card holder for legal access of ATM service by using Automated Teller Machine approved by Bank.
    • It means an action effected / executed due to use of ATM card by operating/using Automated Teller Machine by authorized card holder for desired access of available ATM service recognized & confirmed by the Bank.
  • PIN
    • It means Personal Identification Number (PIN) which is used as password for getting access to the service desired by authorized card holder.
    • Use of correct PIN while swapping/use of ATM card shall be considered that such transaction was expected by Authorized card holder or by a person having such authority.
  • CARD USAGE
    • ATM card shall be used at only approved ATM machines approved by Bank.
  • Communication mode
    • The cardholder agrees that our bank can may utilize any mode of communication such as e-mail, letters, SMS and telephones but not restricted numbers for our banks marketing services, proper operation of card and other administrative service.
  • Acceptance
    • The cardholder can use his/her KUCB ATM card at our banks ATM only
    • If he has used KUCB ATM card at other banks ATM then bank is not responsible or liable for refusal or any incidence occurs
    • However any such bank refusal may be reported to our bank with detail information such as Other Bank Name, ATM Location, Transaction date and time and other details if any that will assist the bank in any investigation
  • Fees and Charges
    • Our Bank reserves the rights to charge the linked account of KUCB ATM card with card fees and our bank charges.
    • Our Bank has authority to charge to cardholders assigned account for ATM card fee in first year and applicable annual charges each year till card or assigned account is closed / cancelled / expired.
    • KUCB ATM card fee is not refundable and will not pay any interest / dividend on it.
    • Charges will be levied as per bank policy. Please visit nearest branch for more information.
  • Govt. Fees and Taxes
    • Various Govt. duties, fees, taxes will apply to cardholders assigned account if any.
    • The cardholder agrees to charge such govt. fees and taxes to his assigned account.
  • GST Tax
    • As per Govt. of India guidelines, GST as applicable will be collect on the cardholders assigned account.
    • The cardholder agrees for such tax to charge his assigned account.
  • ATM Card Ownership
    • The ATM card is exclusive property of our Bank & the holder of card is only allowed / permitted to use the card subject to validity of limited period granted by Bank and subject to terms & conditions applicable for the use of ATM service & till existence of Account with Bank.
    • The card issuance period to customer is not more than 3 weeks. Our bank may recall the ATM cards.
    • The cardholder agrees to such entity and will submit to us our bank ATM card at the time of our bank demand or Account closure or on expiry of card or cardholder does not want to use it.
  • Failed ATM transaction Re-credit
    • Any complaints regarding failure of ATM transactions shall be communicated within short period from the time of such transaction.
    • In the event of such compliant Bank may resolve such complaint within 7 working days excluding Bank Holidays and Quarter/Year End date.
  • Closing of Account
    • Cardholder has to submit the card at the time of account closing otherwise cardholder account will not be closed.
  • Inoperative / Dormant Account
    • Cardholder account becomes inoperative / dormant our any branch manager / our banks authority may examine the situation and advise to cardholder to surrender the ATM card.
  • Validity of ATM Card
    • Validity of the ATM card will be decided by our bank from the date of its issue and it will be encoded accordingly at present, it shall be for five years.
    • The card will be renewed after observation of previous satisfactory ATM transactions by our authorities.
  • Death of ATM card holder
    • In case of death of a card holder our bank receives the card back before closing the account or not permitting operation by survivors on cardholder account.
  • Issue of ATM card and PIN Mailer delivering period
    • It may take 3 weeks time to deliver the card and PIN number to a customer from the date of receipt of application for the same on the Banks prescribed pro-forma.
  • ATM Card Safety
    • It is sole responsibility of card holder to preserve the card in good condition
    • Always ensure to keep ATM card safely in plastic pouch to prevent any physical damage to magnetic strip and not expose it to magnetic fields, heat, water and dust anytime.
    • If the card is broken or unreadable it will be considered as invalid card.
  • Authority & Responsibility
    • Our bank shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly as a result of any malfunction / failure of the ATM card or the ATM or for the temporary insufficiency of funds in such machine or otherwise whatsoever.
    • Our bank reverse the right to limit the amount which may withdraw by cardholder daily any time without giving, any prior notice.
    • Our Bank also reverse the right to restrict the ATM to certain Hours of the day has may be notified and displayed from time to time.
    • The Bank reverses the right to amend, add or delete any of term & conditions or rules without prior notice to ATM account holder.
    • It is sole responsibility of the card holder, for the transaction done by ATM card as with card holder knowledge or authority, express or implied.
  • Governing Laws and Dispute Resolution
    • The term and conditions mentioned here in above the usages and operation of the card shall be governed by the laws of India and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of court of Karad ( Maharashtra ).
  • Disclaimer Clause
    • ATM card is not transferable.
    • Bank shall not be held responsible for any such transactional liability / consequences of any nature occurred due to use of ATM card and its correct password PIN number by any person or transference.
    • It is bounding duty & responsibility of ATM card holder to keep the ATM card in his safe custody & shall maintain the secrecy of PIN / ATM card from others.

Automated Teller Machine is a computerized machine that provides the customers of banks the facility of accessing their accounts for dispensing cash and to carry out other financial transactions without the need of actually visiting a Bank Branch.

ATM cards/debit cards, credit cards and prepaid cards (that permit cash withdrawal) can be used at ATMs for various transactions. Our bank offered only ATM cards to our customers for the transactions.

  • In addition to cash dispensing ATMs may have many services/facilities enabled by the bank owning the ATM such as :
    • Account information
    • Regular bills payment
    • Mini/Short Statement etc.

The services offered may vary from bank to bank, or may depend on the capacity of the machine to provide such services.

  • The Karad Urban Co-op. Bank Ltd., Karad ATM offers the following services :
    • Our Bank customers :
      • Cash dispensing, Balance enquiry, Account Information, mobile top-up, PIN Change, Mini statement, Balance transfer within linked accounts.
    • Other Bank customers :
      • Cash dispensing, Balance enquiry.

For transacting at an ATM, the customer inserts /deep his/her Card in the ATM and enters his/her Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued by his/her bank.

PIN is the numeric password which is separately mailed / handed over to the customer by the bank while issuing the card. Our bank recommend to the customers to change the PIN on the first use.

The cards issued by banks in India may be used at any bank ATM within India. However the savings bank account holders can transact a maximum of five transactions free at other bank ATMs in a month, which is inclusive of all types of transactions, financial and non-financial, beyond which the customer can be charged by his/her bank.

Our bank customer and our ATMs are applicable to Our Bank only.

We will decide the charges beyond the limit while we share inter bank ATM.

In the event of one forgets PIN, He/she can generate new PIN by visiting any KUCB ATM and choosing ‘Generate Green PIN’ option after inserting the card in the ATM.

In the event of card stocked in ATM, kindly communicate the issue with KUCB branch officials.

If any customer has lost/stolen the card, he/she should immediately inform the bank. By calling customer support number

Mostly the withdrawal limits are set by the card issuing banks. This limit is displayed at the respective ATM locations.

Our bank set once in a day transaction limit as follows. (Once a day means = Transaction day or business day)

Withdrawal amount Rs. 25,000/- and card assigned accounts up to minimum balance whichever is less or number of withdrawals two (2) as considered single card to single account.

The customer should lodge a complaint with the card issuing bank at the earliest. This process is applicable even if the transaction was carried out at another banks ATM.

As per the RBI instructions (DPSS. PD. No. 2632/02. 10. 002/2010-2011 dated May 27, 2011), banks have been mandated to resolve customer complaints by re-crediting the customers account within 7 working days from the date of complaint.

Effective from July 1, 2011, banks have to pay customers Rs.100/- per day for delays beyond 7 working days. The compensation has to be credited to the account of the customer without any claim being made by the customer. If the complaint is not lodged within 30 days of transaction, the customer is not entitled for any compensation for delay in resolving his / her complaint.

The customer can take recourse to the local Banking Ombudsman in such situations.

Any major operative customer who is already having a Savings Bank or Current Account with us can apply for our bank ATM card with our cards issuance Term and conditions.

The request has to be made at any branch of the customer.

If at any time customer feels that the PIN has been by mistake or otherwise disclose to any one he should change the same immediately.

PIN can be changed as often as required. This is to maintain secrecy and prevent any misuse of the ATM card.

Just enter and re-enter your new PIN numbers (numeric 4 digits) and try to remember your new PIN. But be remember PIN change and PIN Re-issue is totally different. PIN re-issue is chargeable.

A card once hot listed cannot be re-activated.

The responsibility is solely with the cardholder. Bank does not take any responsibility for unauthorized usage of ATM card. The card holder is supposed to keep his card and PIN securely.

  • In case of our customer card gets jammed in our banks ATMs; please collect it from that branch ATM on next day with valid identity and our banks authority’s satisfaction. If it is jammed in other banks ATM, the card will not be returned and will be destroyed by them. Hence, you have to block the card in our bank and get a new card with applicable fees.
  • In case of our customer card gets damaged, return it to Branch Manager or any concerned authority and fill up new request form with applicable fees.
  • In case of our customer cardholder forget his PIN, contact to Branch Manager or email us. New PIN will be mailed to you as per our ATM cards Term and conditions.
  • In case of our customer card is lost or stolen, please notify the branch from where you obtained the card or any nearest branch. Report the loss to the police and obtain a copy of the FIR lodged with the police station. Inform the branch in writing along with a copy of FIR. Meanwhile our customer can register or block the card through SMS or email or on given telephone lines. Please note that any financial loss arising out of unauthorized use of the card till such time the Bank records the notice of loss of card will be to the Card Holders account. Fresh card will be issued in replacement of lost / damaged card at a fee.
  • Always remember to get back your card from the ATM / POS after transactions are completed.

At times it may so happen that the request for withdrawal made by cardholders gets posted in his account but the ATM for some hardware faults/transmission delays is unable to dispense cash. In such occasions the amount debited is reversed by way of a credit to cardholders account.

There could be a track problem with the card. First, the customer should try a transaction in some other ATM on Our Bank Network, and if he is getting the same message, the card has to be replaced.

The customer may lodge a complaint with the card issuing bank. This process is applicable even if the transaction was carried out at other banks ATM.

A cardholder of our bank can link upto four accounts to his/her card.

  • Dos :
    • Swap ATM Card into the card slot of ATM Machine with ATM Logo positioned upwards to the thumb.
    • Collect cash immediately from the cash slot when cash is presented.
    • Remember to take the card from the slot when the card is ejected out.
    • It is advisable to change PIN at the first instance itself for enhanced security.
    • Sign on the Card immediately on the receipt to avoid misuse of unsigned cards.
    • Contact nearest Branch if any assistance is required.
    • Report immediately to nearest Branch if card is lost.
  • Don'ts :
    • Do not keep PIN and Card together.
    • Do not reveal your PIN to anyone else.
    • Do not write your PIN on the backside of the card.
    • Do not reveal your PIN through SMS / Email etc.
    • Do not use ATM card for Internet transaction.
    • Do not dispose statements, charge slips and bank mails without destroying.
    • Do not put more than 40 currency notes in a single deposit envelope for cash deposits in ATM.
    • Do not insert pins, clips, coins etc in the envelope.
    • Do not allow the card to be taken out of your sight in a merchant location.
    • Do not allow yourself to be distracted in any way while using the ATM.
    • Do not litter the Cabin.
    • Do not wear Helmet when you are entering in to the ATM cabin.
